Their achievements continue to be held in the highest regard today, as they are increasingly recognised as having single-handedly changed the course of modern design. Charles Eames helped Eero Saarinen in the presentations for their designs for the Museum of Modern Art "Organic Design in Home Furnishings (1940)". Eames and Saarinen's designs produced by moulding plywood into intricate curves won them first prize.
