.. protecting you from outside noises and providing a private space for relaxing.In 1963 Aarnio conceived of the famous Ball Chair, sometimes referred to as The Globe Chair, it was not until some years later that it was finally manufactured. Using fiberglass Aarnio produced a shape that was considered at the time quite a novelty in the furniture industry. Like the 1963 original, our Ball Chair is made of a fiberglass shell entirely upholstered on the inside, and mounted on a metal swiveling base.
